Holly Williamson, the founder of The Women of Pader Uganda, resides in Austin, Texas with her husband. She is a mother of two boys and a grandmother to two grandchildren that she adores deeply. Holly first visited Pader in 2013 where she felt an immediate connection and call from God to help the women restart their lives after a 20-year war in Northern Uganda. In 2017, Holly converted the organization into a 501c3 nonprofit and has created sustainable, empowering programs to help the women and the community in Pader. Through taking a leap of faith and following God's call on her life, Holly has a beautiful story of God's faithfulness and provision to care for His people.
In this episode Jenny and Holly talk about successfully building good relationships by putting into perspective the partnership paths taken and the cultural setting of the different communities one is venturing in to avoid help turning to hurt.
